We're excited to share a brand-new opportunity at Nottingham Building Society - we're on the lookout for a PR & Content Manager to help bring our vibrant new brand to life! You'll take charge of driving our news agenda, seeking out opportunities for impactful media coverage, and creating engaging content that connects with our audiences across social media. You will be a collaboration powerhouse working with internal colleagues and PR / external partners to help us deliver against our exciting new strategy! You'll provide media training and support for the senior executives, contribute to financial reporting cycle deliverables, and proactively manage reputational risks with continuity plans. Here's a taste of what you will be doing as a PR & Content Manager at Nottingham Building Society: -
- Own, develop and deliver PR strategies to achieve positive media coverage and raise awareness of the NBS brand and its proposition.
- Collaborate with brand team to develop PR strategies and social media strategies to activate the Society's brand and strategy delivery.
- Proactively identify opportunities to promote and enhance the reputation of Nottingham Building Society including media coverage opportunities.
- Own, develop and deliver PR strategies to achieve positive media coverage and raise awareness of the NBS brand and its proposition.
- Build relationships with key internal and external customers and partners including local and national journalists and relevant media outlets.
- Support the CEO and senior executives with media training, preparation and delivery of media interviews.
- Lead on developing, owning and renewing the Society's news agenda.
- Play a key role in developing elements of the financial reporting cycle deliverables.
- Identify, manage and mitigate against reputational risks ensuring the appropriate plans are in place as part of business continuity strategies.
- Propose targets, metrics and measurement of media and social media coverage, reporting on progress towards targets within an agreed operating rhythm.
Proven experience in PR and a proven track record of managing media relations and executing successful PR campaigns and strategies. - Experience in content development and social media strategy delivery.
- Experience in crisis management and handling unexpected issues.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build trusted relationships within internal and external customers.
