Full Job Description

· Represent a mix of consumer and B2B clients across financial & professional services. These may include consultancies, consumer finance provides and private equity

· Take a leading role in fast paced press offices, managing junior colleagues in media sell ins and spotting opportunities to contribute to media debate

· Write first drafts of opinion pieces, press releases and commentary on technical FS topics

· Manipulate survey and other data to create headlines for thought leadership and campaigns

· Contribute to original campaign ideas in collaboration with our diverse team of specialists. You will work on integrated campaigns using paid, earned, owned and shared channels

· Support the whole new business process from initial research to pitching

· Manage clients proactively to ensure deadlines are hit and KPIs monitored

We are looking for a B2B PR and campaigns skillset but, as an integrated team, there will be opportunities across consumer PR, social media, content and policy. The right candidate will be intellectually curious, comfortable working with numbers, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a keen business media operator. Agency and financial & professional services experience are both highly desirable, as is experience working with multinational brands., · A strong interest in financial & professional services in the UK and globally

· Comfortable manipulating client data, insight and reports to create pitches & stories for media

· Keen media operator with tier one business journalist relationships

· Strong writer, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas in areas such as sustainability, leadership, diversity and finance

· Excellent organisational skills, managing complex accounts which span owned, earned and shared content

· A proven track record for contributing to high-impact campaigns and proactive approach to new ideas

· A tenacious approach to media relations, both through organising press office teams and drumming up media interest

· Strong client handling skills, experience in delivering counsel to clients

· A team player, looking to learn from the best of our agency specialist and willing to invest time in developing our junior team
