Full Job Description

The PR Showroom Executive will play a huge part in ensuring ASOSs consumer facing PR is best in class. With a totally refreshed approach, you'll be a key player in defining how ASOS works with core media in the content and event spaces. This is to raise awareness of ASOS across new touchpoints and elevate our brand on our various channels for our customers in all territories. The PR Showroom Executive will work across multiple projects but with a primary focus on supporting, all remits of admin related to media relationship building, press activity, and brand briefs that serve growth through excellent, engaging brand content that resonates with fashion-loving 20-somethings. You'll support the administration of a consumer media roster (which includes VIP contacts) that you will service end to end, from facilitating media placement planning and requests, gifting, hosting at press events, showroom management and supporting PR campaign fulfilment. You will additionally contribute to conceptualising and executing creative and impactful event activations that inspire brand connection and engagement. It will be part of your responsibility to ensure that our core media and talent audiences are obsessed with ASOS, have a great experience working with us, and always want to do more.,

  • Support senior PR team with executing the development and roll-out of ASOSs newly reimagined global PR and talent strategy.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the ASOS PR Showroom and appointment schedule to accommodate a host of activity including talent fittings and dressing / gifting appts, press pulls, showroom-based events / activations, internal events, social activations and wider campaign related activity.
  • Relationship management working with a broad remit of industry-based contacts, ranging across but not limited to, media contacts, stylists, VIPs, talent and influencers, as well as key internal stakeholders to ensure our external content approach is in line with our target audience.
  • Support senior team with concepting and executing creative and impactful PR and talent facing events / activations that inspire connections and engagement between our brand and our key industry contact base.
  • Facilitate all admin related to servicing the PR Showroom for related activity across events / appts etc, including gifting sample management, hospitality / catering management, budgeting and ad hoc services required such as couriers, tailoring etc.
  • Support senior team on concepting fun and engaging PR activity, campaign execution and post campaign reporting.
  • Position the ASOS PR Showroom as a central hub within the business that will play a vital role in supporting driving of brand heat and fashion currency / relevancy as a large-scale global apparel and beauty digital commerce retailer.
  • Support senior team with building a credible and culturally relevant VIP, stylist and talent roster that can be engaged for ad hoc projects, media ops, dressing and event opportunities.
  • Support communication through the press showroom of new launches and product messaging, ensuring this is best in class, and proactively serviced to relevant industry contracts across the fashion and beauty space to align to key business marketing initiatives.
  • Liaising with peer level and above across the business and externally to ensure proactive and effective delivery of department / function related processes and project briefs.
  • Support senior team with post campaign business reporting on PR and talent led activations that support wider marketing function.
  • Support senior team with budget related admin.
  • Be a constant champion for PR and talent in the business with one eye on what our competitors are doing.

  • Knowledge and relationships and ever-growing contact base across the fashion and beauty landscape.
  • Experience working directly with fashion and / or beauty media and influencers across a spectrum of project briefs related to organic brand placement.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and positive attitude attributed to day-to-day tasks management and execution.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a genuine obsession for all things fashion and content, especially in the remit of digital media and social platforms.
  • A good level of understanding of the media and social media landscapes. Particularly UK based fashion and beauty media, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Fully immersed in youth culture and digital trends.
  • Strong organisation and (ideally) visual merchandising skills to outfit the PR showroom space and maintain communication of newness for all external visiting guests.
  • Harbouring a real interest in the development of the digital media and social media landscapes.
  • Excellent organisation skills, and the ability to keep all administrative tasks across the team remit organised.
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the ASOS brand in all capacities.
  • An interest in fashion, trends and pop culture our 20-something audience love.
