Full Job Description

As the Nurse Education Site Team at NUH, we workcollectively to implement the educational strategy,with the aim of achieving clinical excellence for ourpatients and educational excellence for our staff. Wework closely with the renowned Barts HealthEducation Academy and Higher Education Institutesto embed developmental opportunities. The teamconsists of the Professional development nursesand the Lead Nurse for Site Education, however asa senior member of the nursing team ProfessionalDevelopment nurses work very closely with theclinical leaders within each division and other siteleaders., As the Site Education team, we are responsible forsupporting the safety and quality of care deliveredwithin the site through promoting up to dateeducation and support for staff. We do this throughproviding direct training in a variety of forms,undertaking clinical audits and research and criticallyanalysing and reviewing teaching resources andopportunities for staff.
