Full Job Description

As the Nurse Education Site Team at NUH, we work
collectively to implement the educational strategy,
with the aim of achieving clinical excellence for our
patients and educational excellence for our staff. We
work closely with the renowned Barts Health
Education Academy and Higher Education Institutes
to embed developmental opportunities. The team
consists of the Professional development nurses
and the Lead Nurse for Site Education, however as
a senior member of the nursing team Professional
Development nurses work very closely with the
clinical leaders within each division and other site
leaders.

As the Site Education team, we are responsible for
supporting the safety and quality of care delivered
within the site through promoting up to date
education and support for staff. We do this through
providing direct training in a variety of forms,
undertaking clinical audits and research and critically
analysing and reviewing teaching resources and
opportunities for staff.
