Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity is now available for the right candidate to join our non-medical education team as a Practice Education Tutor to support our Trainee Nurse Associates (TNA's) and Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeships. The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality education within the Trust and will be required to contribute to the Quality Assurance of learning opportunities to meet the training curriculum. It will be a requirement of the role to support the development, co-ordination, evaluation and implementation of education programmes for these students., The post holder will support the Practice Education Lead for Trainee Nurse Associates and Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship and will have responsibilities to support the wider educational team. The post holder will monitor the progress of each student and support the formative and summative assessments as dictated within the curriculum. With excellent communication skills the post holder will collaborate with placement providers and HEIs to ensure rigor in practice learning is maintained; learning outcomes can be met, and are aligned with Service need Duties include supporting the Corporate Nursing Team in the recruitment process and the Practice Education Facilitators (PEFs) teams to ensure the provision of high quality learning environmentsacross the Organisation

We are looking to recruit an individual with experience of teaching, supervising and assessing in clinical practice and working across professional and organizational boundaries. The post holder will be required to develop excellent working relationships and effective communication with senior leaders across the trust and external partners which will be essential to drive the developments of the future workforce.

Specialist Regional Services We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
