Full Job Description

You will play a key role in shaping the future of Physiological Science training, ensuring high-quality development opportunities for healthcare professionals in the region., You will also focus on skill mix, upskilling opportunities, and creative approaches to delivering services in the Physiological Science sector. A key part of your role will be to support the establishment of a collaborative Practice Educator Network across South East England.

Passionate about healthcare education and workforce development. Experienced in Physiological Science or related fields. Skilled in designing and delivering educational programs. Strong communicators with the ability to engage and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Innovative thinkers who can contribute to the development of new approaches and solution.

Open only to applicants from Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust, South Central Ambulance Service or Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. NHS England have awarded funding to Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOW) to advance the development of Practice Education in Physiological Science across South East England. These roles will involve collaboration with Kent & Medway (K&M) ICB and existing Practice Educators across the South East region. As part of this exciting initiative, we are looking to second 2 Practice Educators to NHS HIOW. These secondment positions are fully funded for 6 months and will play a critical role in enhancing and expanding the training provision for Physiological Science professionals.
