Full Job Description

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen to work with LSCFT's Culture of Care Project Lead; to support all inpatient teams participating in NHS England's two year Culture of Care Programme.

The aim of the programme is to support organisations to improve the culture of inpatient mental health, learning disability and autism wards across England. By ensuring that patients and staff feel wards are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for and fulfilling places to work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with teams and services that are evolving and have the needs of our patient's and the communities they serve at the heart of the care they provide.

Applications are invited from experienced and self-motivated registered nurses with leadership qualities and a passion for quality improvement, collaboration and co-production.

You must have excellent communication and time management skills, and a good working knowledge and understanding of inpatient mental health services.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
