Your role involves working with and supporting colleagues to confidently develop and maintain their professional knowledge and skills. We are looking for someone who inspires and displays excellence in all midwifery competencies, including suturing, cannulation, IVs, and drug administration. You will be visible in practice, supporting staff with their clinical skills and competencies.

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in local meetings and disseminate learning.

  • Work with the senior leadership team and wider MDT, Trust, and external agencies to support staff and the wider educational agenda of our service, anticipating and responding to a constantly changing and dynamic environment.

  • Other responsibilities(may involve):
  • Work with the education lead to support implementation of Coaching Learners in Practice framework in ward areas.

  • Collaborating with universities to support and address concerns in practice.

  • Lead with student inductions and student risk assessments prior to clinical placements.
