Practice Nurse

This is a four month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave from November 2024. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team for 34 hours per week. Working days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Our nursing team consists of three practice nurses, HCA and smoking cessation advisor. Duties will include all treatment room procedures such as dressings, cervical smears, ear irrigations, immunisations and vaccinations., Providing assessment, screening and treatment services and health education advice Management of chronic disease Therapeutic monitoring Wound care and Management Health Screening Travel Health Immunisations adult and children Women's health Ear Care

Wateringbury Surgery is a friendly and innovative semi-rural dispensing practice with a branch surgery in Larkfield. We are a three partner practice with four salaried GPs looking after a patient list of 10500. We are a friendly, hard working, supportive and caring team with a recognised high standard of care and service to our patients. We have regular Nurse Team meetings, Clinical meetings and Education lunch meetings.
