If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who is competent in holistic practice nurse skills, including cervical smear taking, baby/ adult immunisations and wound care. Our three Practices are progressive and fast paced places to work and we care for a diverse population of patients.

The function of the Practice Nurse is evolving within General Practice settings. Acknowledging this shift, we are in the process of creating a new advancement pathway for our Practice Nurses. This initiative aims to enhance clinical abilities and allows Nurses to specialise in managing specific long-term conditions, ultimately leading to the designation of Advanced Practice Nurse alongside an improved pay scale. Part of this advancement will involve training in prescription authorisation, among other educational opportunities designed to foster growth and development in their roles.

We will also consider applications from nurses who are not Practice Nurse trained but who are able to work autonomously, have excellent team working skills and a can-do attitude.

Hastings & Rother Healthcare was formed in 2021 and consists of three GP practices within Hastings and St Leonards. We are an organisation that is rapidly growing and we currently cover the largest patient population in Hastings & St Leonards.

Joining our team means becoming part of a dedicated group of healthcare professionals who share a common vision and values. By putting our patients first and delivering high-quality care, you will contribute to our mission of improving the health and lives of the communities we serve.
