Practice Nurse

The Prince of Wales Medical Centre has an opportunity for a part-time practice Nurse to join our team., The Practice Nurse will work with the Lead Practice Nurse and other members of the multi professional team, providing and monitoring the condition and health needs of patients within their care, contributing to the ongoing assessment, as agreed with supervising clinicians and in line with the service pathways. The primary clinics will be for Cervical Screening and contraception but you will be expected to support patients in the management of long term conditions (Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension and COPD), Child Health/Immunisations, Wound Management and all other general treatment room duties.

We are looking for a organised and enthusiastic person with at least 2 years post registration experience and a Post Registration GPN diploma or Practice Nursing Degree or equivalent. The successful candidate will be part of a well-supported clinical team, along with excellent admin and data support staff, serving 9000 + patients in our local area.

The successful candidate will be joining a forward-looking and well-supported clinical team.

Our training practice in Kentish Town is based in new purpose-built premises with superb clinical areas, staff facilities and meeting rooms.
