Full Job Description

Shipdham Surgery was amongst the very highest performing practices in the recent GP patient survey, we have worked hard to develop systems which blend the best of modern and traditional general practice, giving good patient access. We pride ourselves on our superb patient satisfaction scores and high standards of care and are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic practice nurse to join our existing team on a part time basis, for 27 hours per week, with flexible working hours considered. This is an excellent opportunity to join a happy friendly, high achieving and supportive established rural practice providing the full range of traditional family medicine, well regarded and supported by our patients.,

  • Management of long-term conditions (diabetes, COPD, spirometry, and asthma).
  • General treatment room duties.
  • Wound management.
  • Womens health including cervical screening.
  • Child health/travel immunisations.
  • Infection control in conjunction with our other practice nurse.

    We offer high quality healthcare services to our population of 4,800 patients in a small pretty rural area located in Shipdham, 5 miles from Dereham, 5 miles from Watton 26 miles from Norwich.
