Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HM Featherstone a category C Prison located in Featherstone, Staffordshire. In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed. Working Hours Mon Fri: 07:00 18:30 Sat Sun: 08:30 17:30 (you will be expected to work every other weekend), As a Practice Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Deliver the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or referral of patients independent of medical intervention
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
- Deliver non-judgemental care

Registered Nurse: Adult Nursing with current NMC registration - Experience working autonomously as a clinical practitioner following best practice guidance and identifying risk to patients through sound use of clinical expertise
