Practice Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully NMC registered Practice Nurse to join our friendly, supportive, team. Whilst practice nurse experience is desirable it is not essential as we are supportive in training qualified nurses to become a practice nurse. Particular experience in Diabetes would be an advantage. We may also be able to offer the opportunity to expand the role into that of a Lead Nurse for the right person., Once trained our practice nurses carry out many competencies in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, including, Cytology, woundcare, Health checks, hypertension management, health promotion, ECGs, Ear Care, Childhood Immunisations, Long term conditions management etc.

Woodview Medical Centre is a busy training practice on the edge of Northampton close to excellent road links. We provide General Medical Services to a population of approximately 10,500 from purpose built premises with its own free parking. We are open Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:30 (excluding bank holidays).

Ideally we would like someone to work full time although this may be flexible. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
