Full Job Description

The post holder will be an experienced clinician who will act within their professional boundaries and will act as a positive role model supporting junior staff whilst working flexibly to provide safe clinical expert care. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, someone who can work autonomously but is also a team player who can support the delivery of policy and procedures, and assist the AP with leadership as required.   • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment / interventions and care for patients presenting with undifferentiated diagnosis.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient care service.
  • Diagnose and manage acute episodes of care integrating both drug- and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan.
  • Support patients and their families to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and carers, recognising the need for alternative methods of communication to overcome different levels of understanding, cultural background and preferred ways of communicating.
  • Participate in the maintenance of quality governance systems and processes across the organisation and its activities.
  • Utilise the audit cycle as a means of evaluating the quality of the work and implementing improvements where required.
  • In partnership with other clinical teams, collaborate on improving the quality of health care responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Any other duties, as agreed with the line manager to meet the needs of the organisation. This may include travel to other sites within the organisation.
