Practice Nurse - Kingsway Surgery

The Practice Nurse, in conjunction with the GPs undertake a wide range of assessments, screening and care for patients at the Kingsway Surgery. They will provide a professional service to patients, doctors, staff, health service professionals and others at all times., Practice Nurses are required to undertake general treatment room duties including, dressings, wound care, immunisations including baby clinic, general health screening and health promotion advice. They work as a team in the practice to support the patient population with diverse needs to fulfill the GMS contract.

The practice has been established since 1870 and had multiple locations over the years to adapt to growing demand before finding a place on the Kingsway in 1993 with its own parking facilities underneath. The practice benefits from a stable and consistent team across clinical and non-clinical roles. Each GP has a lead role to play in the practice which assists in the success of the practice achieving excellent QAIF standards and access standards.
