An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic registered nurse to work in Pre Operative Assessment clinic. This is a Fixed Term contract 37.5 hours a week and an ideal opportunity for those who would like to develop pre assessment skills. Thepost holderwillactasa juniorteammember,supportedbyseniorcolleagueswhilstdeveloping skills specific to the preoperative care environment. Thepostholderwillbe:

  • Responsiblefortheassessment,planning,implementationandevaluationanddeliveryof care packages for patients undergoing POA for elective surgery.
  • Responsibleforadefinedcaseloadofpatients.
  • Thepost holder will work closelyand collaboratively aspartof the PreoperativeAssessment Team (POA)andwithallhealthcareprofessionalsinvolvedinthecarepathwayof theelectiveandurgent surgical patient, including
