Full Job Description

FTS is looking for a motivated and skilled Pre Sales Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge and expertise in indoor solutions, small cell technology, and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). This role will require close collaboration with sales, engineering, and product teams to create and implement technical solutions tailored to our clients' needs.,

  • Solution Design: Partner with sales teams to craft customized solutions that fulfil customer requirements and enhance overall network performance.
  • Demonstrations and Presentations: Lead product demonstrations and technical presentations for clients, effectively showcasing the advantages and features of our solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Contribute to the creation of technical proposals, ensuring they align with customer needs and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to facilitate a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
  • Market Analysis: Remain informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the indoor, small cell, and DAS markets.

    Experience in RF modelling and designing in-building cellular systems using tools like iBwave or RanPlan for DAS or small cell systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of discussing and finalizing requirements with clients.
  • Skilled in translating design criteria and requirements into system dimensioning, link budgets, and traffic analyses.
  • Complete RAMS and adhere to the company's health and safety policies.
  • Conduct RF and design surveys for in-building systems, including Carrier Wave testing, post-integration testing, and existing coverage testing.
  • Experienced in processing survey data and producing or reviewing survey data plots and tables.
  • Familiar with survey and analysis tools such as TEMS Investigation, TEMS Discovery, or Nemo.
  • Review results, drawings, and reports produced by team members and suppliers.
