Full Job Description
- Creation of solution designs to solve specific customer problems, starting from agreed requirements moving through conceptual and logical to physical designs.
- Understanding the limits of candidate products/technologies and identifying high level options to overcome and fulfil customer business needs/fit with strategy.
- Representation of the Business Pre-Sales organisation in both customer and internal engagements and demonstration of its standards in respect of professionalism and best practice.
- Responsible for technical support to commercial discussions, including bid qualification.
- providing costs for Finance approval. This includes responsibility for maintaining a relationship with key vendor contacts to obtain costs and validate configurations.
- Responsible for understanding and capturing the customer requirements, using additional resources where appropriate.
Have considerable experience of one or more key technologies such as WAN/LAN/UC/IOT/ Cloud & Security - Knowledge or experience of the ITIL framework.
- Desirable - understanding or knowledge of public sector frameworks
- Eligible and willing to attain and hold DV level security clearance. Security Clearance: This position requires the person to maintain Customer Confidentiality and hold Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
