We are looking for an outgoing Pre-School Assistant to join our exceptional School. As our Pre-School Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm, supportive and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. About Beechwood School Beechwood is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 3-18, which comprises a Pre-Prep, Preparatory and Senior School. About the Position Contract Type: Full -time, permanent, 50 weeks per year Working pattern: Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week - flexible working pattern Salary: Based on experience Start Date: Immediate start available Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting our Pre-School Teachers in implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through play-based learning experiences.
  • Fostering a safe and inclusive environment, where every child feels valued and respected.
  • Helping to maintain a clean, organised and inviting classroom.
  • About you We are looking for someone who has:
  • Ideally hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification that is relevant and current to Early Years. However, there may be the opportunity for the right person to be trained by our experienced team.
  • Prior experience within a Nursery or Pre-School setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
  • The adeptness to work as part of a team.
