Pre-School Room Leader

· 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm)

We are looking for someone who:

· Gives amazing cuddles,

· Knows all the latest Disney characters (or is willing to learn!),

· Can nurse bumps and bruises,

· Enjoys singing and dancing with groups of children (even if it's not in tune!),

· Is an expert in negotiating and sharing

· Can think on their feet and answer obscure questions (or be ready to Google the answer!)

· Is ready and willing to help us make a difference in children's lives

and

· Is looking to manage their own team and oversee the running of the Pre-School Room, · A full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years is essential

· Experience of working in a nursery setting is essential and room leading experience is desirable

· To provide a fun and varied curriculum (learning through play) and learning opportunities for all children within the Nursery and to understand the needs of each individual child in our care.

· To observe, assess and plan for children within the Nursery using the Early Years Foundations Stage and provide feedback to Parents and Carers about their children's progress.

· Children aged 2 - 4 years old during Term Time & 2 - 6 years old during the School Holidays

· Full Time, Permanent Contract

· Starting salary is negotiable depending on applicant's experience and qualifications, · Start Date: Negotiable
