Premises Assistant

We are looking for a Premises Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity to join our Trust. You will be working with our Premises Officer to support the day to day management of our site. In this role you will maintain the security of the premises and its contents, lighting, heating and cleaning of premises; including the maintenance and operation of plant. You will be expected to undertake minor repairs and maintenance of the buildings and site. General handyperson duties would include routine development and maintenance, porterage, minor redecoration, repairs and other tasks which would not normally require the services of an outside contractor. About us The Medeshamstede Academy opened in a new building in June 2013 to provide education for students from 4 to 16 years old. We are an all-through Academy, and our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of autism and/or SEMH as their main presenting need. The Academy is on a rapid improvement journey, and the new leadership team is working hard to ensure students receive the best education possible.
