We have an excellent opportunity available for a Preparation Technician to join our team at Sytner Select Northampton. Are you currently working in a fast fit garage, MOT Centre, Auto repair shop or Independent garage? We want to hear from you! The role of the Preparation Technician is a key productive role in the Sytner Select sales process. Working as part of the workshop team you will be central to the preparation process ensuring that cars are mechanically inspected and repaired on a daily basis in line with Sytner and manufacturer standards. As a Preparation Technician you will carry out vehicle preparations on used and new vehicles in order to feed them through to sale. You will be expected to work efficiently and play an important role in helping to ensure that the vehicle is moved through the stages of preparing, testing, repairing and quality checking. Each of our dealerships boasts state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and technology in workshops, which are safe, friendly and clean. We are committed to ensuring our colleagues have a safe environment to operate in and provide all necessary PPE.

You will be a team-player who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where there are set processes and procedures. You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification. Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing.
