Managing incoming prescription requests - from patients, pharmacies, care home and other organisations. Process prescription requests within the practice time frame Allocate medication reviews to the appropriate healthcare professionals when repeat medication has expired Support with queries that come through via telephone or front reception Collate information from medication related queries and forward to an appropriate healthcare professional in a timely manner Liase with patients to resolve queries and support their use of medication Manage prescription requests for our complex patient list Promotion of our electronic prescription service and online ordering Liase with pharmacies on the supply of prescribed drugs, alert clinicians/pharmacy team of any supply issues and forward information on the recommended alternative Support the PPA returns
