Full Job Description
- Be responsible for delivering training to professionals around the condom scheme in Kirklees.
- Engaging with U25 at local colleges and universities which may include Fresher Fayres, and other national events such as PRIDE.
- Expected to work as part of a wide team of clinician and non-clinical colleagues.
- Engage with young people attending weekly clinical drop in clinic.
- Have responsibility for engaging with and will understand the needs of vulnerable young people including those at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation, those involved in the sex industry, same-sex sexual relations and pregnant women with complex needs.
- Work in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders to ensure those groups most at risk can have access to sexual health, health and social care services.
- Have excellent knowledge of safeguarding, ability to identify risks, support clinical teams and managers in developing pathways and protocols to relevant health and safeguarding services.
- Will be required to work across Kirklees and Bradford to meet service needs.
- Will be using systems that include highly sensitive, client identifiable information, and will be having face to face contact with vulnerable service users, will therefore adhere to standards of confidentiality and data protection as identified in Locala policies. As a mandatory requirement the post holder will undertake annual safeguarding training and other training in line with Locala policy.
