The headteacher and governors of St. John's CE (A) Primary School are excited that an opportunity has arisen for the position of a part time, permanent teacher to support the school community in moving to its next level of school improvement. The position and experience is flexible, from an M3 through to an experienced M6 teacher. The part time position would be for 3 days but there could be some negotiation around this., They are seeking to appoint an exceptional, committed and highly focused individual, who can support the children and staff of St. John's in reaching their full potential. The position would be for someone who would like to be fully part of the school community and to teach across the school from nursery through to year 6. An interest and passion for teaching music is welcome. They are keen to hear from candidates who have seen the benefits of music in children's lives and can engage children in the core curriculum lessons and also through wider musical enrichment in and out of school. Staff also want to find a colleague who can support and develop their skills in teaching music.,

  • Have the ability to inspire and enthuse learners. especially in music.

  • Be a positive and flexible team player and aspiring leader., St. John's is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
