Full Job Description

  • to manage and develop the provision at Clifton Primary by setting intervention programmes and monitoring their impact
  • to liaise with external agencies
  • to make an impact on the educational progress of pupils with SEN
  • to ensure that EHCP and SSPP documentation are complete
  • to lead, develop and enhance the teaching practice of other staff in Special Educational Needs
  • to support the leadership team in day to day planning and strategic management
  • The post will also include:
  • responsibility for the SEN register audit and other statutory documentation
  • working closely with all professionals Line management of some staff involved mainly in SEN support
  • setting intervention programmes and monitoring their impact
