Full Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Pastoral/Behaviour Lead to join our team at Kineton Green Primary School for a maternity cover. The successful applicant will provide support to pupils and families who are experiencing challenging situations/circumstances that are having an impact on family and school life. They will be working alongside school staff to offer support and signpost families to appropriate services, improving access to specialist services. They will be trained as a Deputy DSL and appropriately act upon any safeguarding issues, reporting to the school DSL. The successful applicant will also support the school attendance lead. This will involve analysing attendance, investigating pupil absences and attending any meetings with parents and carers. They will also be part of the Inclusion Team and attend regular inclusion meetings to discuss vulnerable pupils/families. Kineton Green Primary School is a one form entry school in Solihull. We are a good school (Ofsted January 2020) and we have recently joined the Summit Learning Trust.
