The Assessment and Recruitment Team is a busy, developing team with a clear focus on growing the number of mainstream foster carers within Shropshire to support and care for our looked after children, as well as assessing and supporting potential connected person foster carers who are caring for children looked after that are known to them. The successful candidate will carry out initial home fostering visits, viability assessments, Form F assessments, be involved in the marketing and recruitment events for prospective mainstream foster carers, as well as manage a small case load of newly approved foster carers while they transition to their new team.
