This exciting and varied role will work as part of a team to deliver the District Council's commitments within the Growing Opportunities Plan 2023-25. The role will work alongside current team members, other public sector colleagues and our wonderfully vibrant Voluntary and Community Sector on a range of initiatives and projects that support individuals and communities to achieve their potential.

The role is primarily responsible for working on the delivery of the Council's social inclusion priorities and other aligned plans and strategies. This will involve working on the identification of the Council's future objectives in this area, development of interventions to reduce social exclusion and the design, procurement and contract management of the services that meet the needs of socially excluded groups and communities, plus monitoring and oversight of existing social inclusion commitments.

The post sits within the established Communities and Social Inclusion Team who work closely with internal colleagues and other public bodies including Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police, Public Health, housing providers and third sector organisations. It will be essential that you are able to build productive working relationships with colleagues, partners, elected Members and our local communities and that you have a methodical yet creative approach to your work.
