Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our growing tenacious team. This is a great job for a graduate or an Actuarial Analyst with some experience of working in insurance and who has completed an Actuarial, Maths, Economics or Science-based degree! A bit about the job: The Pricing Analyst will work in the Global Corporate & Speciality team and will get involved with a range of projects, including:

  • Building and updating pricing models used by Underwriters
  • Learning how large accounts are priced
  • Performing analyses into pricing data to support proposing changes to models
  • Building a working relationship with the Underwriting teams
  • Preparing reports explaining changes to pricing tools
  • Ensuring governance requirements such as documentation are followed

    Completed an Actuarial, Maths, Economics or Science-based degree
  • Desire to study for the IFoA Actuarial qualification. Able to balance studying with learning on the job
  • Experience or interest in learning how to code in Python or R
  • Adept at communicating complex results to a wider audience
  • Can handle competing priorities

  • National salary £27,000 - £35,000, London salary £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
