Full Job Description

As our Pricing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies across our product portfolio. You will work closely with the Strategy Director and collaborate with the wider SMU Strategy team to define and refine pricing strategies. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product and finance, to ensure our pricing models are competitive and aligned with our business goals. Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will play a key role in optimising our plans and pricing, enhancing our overall market position, and tracking the realisation of benefits from pricing initiatives.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. Here's what the team will be looking for:
Experience in planning and implementing pricing strategies, with strong organisational skills to manage complex projects successfully.
Understanding of market dynamics and pricing models, particularly in SaaS, understanding the dynamic of product led and sales led growth motions.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
Strong capacity to handle challenges and resistance during change initiatives, maintaining a positive and solution-focused approach.
Strategic thinking, can pull data and detail into vision
Ability to collaborate across departments, facilitating cross-functional teamwork and ensuring clear, consistent communication

Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, exemplified by our leadership team, and they're a big part of what we're looking for in you.
