Primary Care Development Manager

Lead the design and development of BLMK and placed based primary care commissioning and transformation, as defined in the primary care strategy, with General Medical Practices, Community Pharmacy, Community Optometry, Dental practices, Integrated Urgent Care, primary care networks and evolving neighbourhoods with partners both at place and scale (BLMK). Ensuring excellent communication with all partners and stakeholders, facilitate robust relationships and ensure sustainable improvements. Provide key relationship management to place., 1. Provide programme leadership to all aspects of primary care contracting, commissioning and primary care development that are in line with the ICBs Primary Care Strategy and national strategy that fall within the remit of the ICB.

2. Design, develop and deliver primary care programmes across BLMK.

3. Lead primary care programmes that deliver resilience, development and transformation across primary care - general medical services, integrated urgent care, dental, ophthalmology and pharmacy.

4. To lead opportunities for joint working, learning and collaboration across primary care BLMK.

5. To lead on procurement programmes of work in close liaison with subject matter experts.

The Primary Care Core ICB team supports primary care providers to develop primary care services to deliver care closer to home with patient at the centre of that care, being a key part of the integration agenda that brings primary care together for closer more efficient working with system partners.

Delivery of the Fuller Review Recommendations along with Modern General Practice ways of work are key priorities for the team.
