Full Job Description

The roles involve working in a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role as well as providing support to general practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries. The successful candidates will provide support with medicines optimisation, medicines safety, quality improvement, clinical audits, staff training and manage some aspects of the quality and outcomes framework and enhanced services.

We are currently looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy technicians to join our forward-thinking team providing medicines knowledge, and information to support the safe and effective prescribing of medicines across the PCNs. The post holder will ensure that the practice integrates with community and hospital pharmacy to help utilise skill mix, improve patient outcomes, ensure better access to healthcare and help manage the medicines related workload in GP surgeries.

The 3Sixty Care Partnership is a unique joint venture between a federation of 27 GP practices in Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and East Northants and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. 3Sixty are working together with five Primary Care Networks (PCNs), by bringing together health and care professionals to support them to deliver joined-up services, which we believe will lead to better quality care, better patient satisfaction and better outcomes., NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
