If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you., The successful post holders will join the NHS England Thames Valley and Wessex Primary Care School to provide project support for Training Hub and Primary Care School colleagues both within Thames Valley and Wessex and across the South East. The projects of work will enable the promotion, provision and management of multi-professional educational activities.
You will work with the Primary Care Team, supporting Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and Locality Training Hubs as well as GP practices and wider Primary Care. We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, enthusiastic and supportive.
You will communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, working across a complex system to achieve the expected outcomes of the workforce agenda.
This is a unique opportunity to meaningfully contribute to Primary Care, the training and education of our future workforce and to inspire interest in education., The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating and delivering programmes of work as a member of the Primary Care School working with health and care stakeholders across defined localities, as well as with relevant regional and national colleagues if required.
You will develop effective, targeted work plans to include performance monitoring and establish accountability to ensure completion whilst adhering to set deadlines. You will work to deliver activity within budget and compile business cases to qualify expenditure. You will be responsible for fulfilling policies and procedures within the managed function.
The postholder will need knowledge of project principles and experience of business planning, budget monitoring and performance evaluation. You will also have line management responsibilities and have previously developed and managed a team.
