We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiasticPrimary Care Service Lead to join our team atHMP & YOI Feltham. Applications welcomed from Registered Healthcare professionals with Primary care experience such as Adult/Child Nurse, Paramedic or Therapist.By joining the Integrated Health Care Team, you will work within a multidisciplinary service as part of the senior management team ensuring young people and adults residing in Feltham receive age appropriate, high quality care in partnership with the Youth Custody services, HMPS and other agencies and have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and wellbeing. CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA NEED NOT APPLY. The post holder will lead the Primary Care provision, to ensure an equitable service to that available in the community. The post holder is responsible for Operational & Clinical Leadership in primary care and public health, ensuring that the highest quality age appropriate evidence-based services are provided. - Specific to job role - detail the duties, responsibilities and key relationships of the job
- Deputise for the Head of healthcare
- Management and leadership - providing line management and clinical supervision to a team of nurses , paramedics and assistant posts.
- Strategic development of the service as part of the senior management team
- Clinical governance - monitoring, auditing and providing assurance in relation to quality of the service
- Ensure service meets the appropriate standard ( e.g. CYPSS. NICE, NMC, CYPIPS, HJIPS)
- Provide education to healthcare staff, young people and YOI staff
- Co-ordinate healthcare response to infection outbreaks and other public health needs
- Preparing performance , Serious incident and audit reports
- Human resource management ie performance, absence, sickness etc
