I am excited to be collaborating with a wonderful Primary School located in the heart of Chester. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised School Secretary to manage the day-to-day administrative tasks and ensure the smooth running of the school's operations. This position is ideal for someone seeking a role with family-friendly hours, working within school terms, with no weekend commitments. - Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
- Organising and distributing internal messages.
- Managing and updating the school's schedules.
- Organizing and maintaining documents and files.
- Welcoming and assisting parents and visitors.
- Recording and managing financial information.
- Monitoring and ordering office supplies as needed.
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings.
Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in basic IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- A proactive and reliable team player who can work independently when needed.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy, fast-paced environment.
