Exciting Opportunity: Primary School Teaching Assistant
Located in the heart of the vibrant and picturesque Richmond, is a friendly, inclusive primary school with a strong sense of community. Our passionate staff are committed to helping every student reach their full potential, and we are now looking for a Teaching Assistant to join an amazing team!
Whether it s helping students with their reading, supporting classroom activities, or assisting with behavioural management, you ll be a key part of our school s day-to-day life, making an impact both inside and outside the classroom., + Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
+ Assist individual students or small groups with their learning, providing tailored support.
+ Help students with additional needs and ensure they are engaged in class activities.
+ Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel supported.
+ Assist with classroom management and maintain a calm, focused environment.
+ Support the children during breaks and lunchtime, ensuring their well-being.
+ Help with administrative tasks, such as preparing learning materials.

+ A positive and caring individual who loves working with children.
+ Previous experience working with primary-aged children (either in a classroom or informal setting) is an advantage, but not essential.
+ A patient, empathetic approach to supporting young learners.
+ A team player with strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
+ A proactive attitude, with a passion for helping children to achieve their potential.
+ A commitment to promoting equality and diversity within the school environment.
