Full Job Description

The main duties of this role are to provide data and insights, in relation to NHS England Direct Commissioned Services and NHS England Delegated services, to a range of stakeholders. It require a strong technical skill set, including SQL and dashboard development and the ability to confident liaise with and manage a range of stakeholders., + The Post Holder will support the Head of DPRU, and the regional and national analysis service leads to ensure the effective service delivery of core service outputs are delivered on time and as per requirement
+ Will provide additional analytical support for DPRU routine and analytics work as required, to ensure the DPRU provide effective support to the analytical service teams and directly to NHSE customers
+ Will manage and support the implementation of initiatives to drive service efficiencies and process change and transact these through into operational processes.
+ Design and create data visualisations in Tableau, or alternative data visualisation tool, to support stakeholder requirements, iteratively developing prototypes and designs through to completion
+ Utilise SQL stack to automate the generation of outputs which are Excel based, including SSIS and SSRS
+ Undertake analysis of pathway centric data, focusing on patient journeys
+ Undertake analysis, developing an excellent understanding of clinical services and service specifications and utilising this understanding to provide story telling, meaningful narrative and insights

We are looking for a talented individual to join the Direct Commissioning Integrated Business Intelligence Team; someone who has a drive and passion in delivering an exemplar service and who would like to progress a career in this profession.
The applicant should possess excellent numerical skills, a methodical approach, a high degree of accuracy in their work and the ability to prioritise work. A strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft SQL and Excel is essential.
The postholder will be required to provide analytical support and insights to a range of regional stakeholders, regularly engaging in regional and national forums to ensure standardisation and consistency where appropriate. It will include the development of dashboards and adhoc reporting utilising a range of technical tools. There may also be line management requirements for this role.
