Full Job Description

News UK is embarking on a new direction in audience personalisation and we are looking for an Audience Platforms Specialist to help bring this vision to life. In this role, you will report to the Head of Audience Data, who will guide and define the strategic direction. Your focus will be on operationalising the platforms that support this strategy. As the Principal - Audience Data Platforms, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for configuring and delivering business capabilities that utilise both existing and emerging platforms. Your work will ensure that in-brand experiences are tailored to connect the right audience with the right experiences.,

  • Oversee and Manage Platforms: Oversee and manage the effective end-to-end execution of underlying audience data platforms, including CRM, and CDP, ensuring alignment with set strategic objectives.
  • Implement and Refine Approaches: Implement and refine new approaches to platform utilisation and potential migration as technology and brand experiences evolve or emerge, ensuring they meet the dynamic needs of the business.
  • Collaborate in a Matrixed Environment: Collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment with technology teams and business leads from insights, marketing, and product departments to successfully implement enhanced capabilities.
  • Execution: Work directly with brands on the implementation and execution of data programs
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity across all platforms, encouraging best practices and regular audits.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Monitor and analyse the performance of data platforms, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.

    This role requires a deep understanding of audience data platforms, including CRM and a keen ability to translate objectives into practical, scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution, driving innovation and excellence in audience engagement., Platform Expert: Experienced in managing emerging audience tech, including CDP and CRM systems. With an in-depth understanding of digital audience platforms, automation, and insights tools. (5 plus years experience.)
  • Data Enthusiast: You have a passion for data and a proven track record in operationalising and deploying emerging data technology.
  • Storyteller: Skilled in using narration and storytelling to drive decisions at all business levels, including leadership and executive levels.
  • Relationship Builder: Highly proficient in stakeholder and relationship management, capable of fostering mutually beneficial relationships across multiple business areas.

  • Program Developer: Experienced in developing and delivering audience automation and growth programs end-to-end across digital channels.
