As part of our Community Mental Health Team in Slough and the wider Berkshire area, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of mental health care. In this dynamic role, you'll lead and mentor staff, collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team, and contribute your expertise to enhance patient care. You'll be based at New Horizons in Slough and will need to travel to our other sites across Berkshire.
This position also offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of the Mental Health Integrated Community Service (MHICS), a groundbreaking initiative within the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation program. You'll work closely with GPs and primary care colleagues to bridge the gap between primary and secondary care, ensuring a seamless, patient-centred approach.

+ You will contribute to the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation initiative aimed at bridging the gap between primary and secondary care, which includes working closely with GPs and primary care colleagues
+ You will provide expert psychological assessment, case formulation, and intervention for a designated number of service users presenting to the service.
+ You will be reliable and knowledgeable, and you will have great IT skills and be familiar with various systems and software packages.
+ You will need to be able to travel independently across Berkshire.

Are you a passionate and experienced clinical or counselling psychologist looking for an exciting new challenge? We have an exceptional part-time opportunity for you to expand your skills and make a real impact across both primary and secondary mental health services., 1. A doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology and Registered Practitioner Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC).
2. Clinical supervision training for psychological therapy trainees and qualified staff.
3. Significant experience working as a qualified clinical/counselling
psychologist, including demonstrable post qualification experience at a highly specialist level in the related specialisms.
4. An enhanced DBS check.
