Are you a passionate and experienced clinical or counselling psychologist looking for an exciting new challenge? As part of our Community Mental Health Team in Slough and the wider Berkshire area, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of mental health care. In this dynamic role, you'll lead and mentor staff, collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team, and contribute your expertise to enhance patient care. You'll be based at New Horizons in Slough and will need to travel to our other sites across Berkshire. This position also offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of the Mental Health Integrated Community Service (MHICS), a groundbreaking initiative within the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation program. You'll work closely with GPs and primary care colleagues to bridge the gap between primary and secondary care, ensuring a seamless, patient-centred approach. - You will initiate, lead, supervise, and contribute to the multidisciplinary teams within the locality and wider Trust services.
- You will contribute to the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation initiative aimed at bridging the gap between primary and secondary care, which includes working closely with GPs and primary care colleagues
- You will provide expert psychological assessment, case formulation, and intervention for a designated number of service users presenting to the service.
- You will be reliable and knowledgeable, and you will have great IT skills and be familiar with various systems and software packages.
- You will need to be able to travel independently across Berkshire.
