  • Develop and maintain the Master and Reference Data architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Design corresponding data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration patterns.
  • Ensure data architecture aligns with the overall solution architecture and meets business requirements and adheres to NHS data vision.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of solution architecture ahead of technical design authority meetings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical data solutions.
  • Review and scrutinise data architecture solutions from suppliers and validate the implementation of these solutions.
  • Define data management frameworks, policies, and standards and assure them through relevant governance and review panels.
  • Validate data integration requirements and data integration workflows.
  • Validate supplier approach to data consistency and integrity across different data sources and systems.
  • Validate data integration processes to ensure efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify data requirements and design data models.

  • Experts in designing data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration patterns.
  • Ability to conduct detailed reviews of solution architecture ahead of technical design authority meetings.
  • Evidence of collaborating with stakeholders in cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical data solutions.
  • Evidence of leading data architectural designs for complex projects
  • You will have a highly developed understanding of overall data landscape, technology, and trends.
  • Experience of making recommendations for how the organisation should resolve any breaches of data standards
  • Ability to provide oversight and advice to more inexperienced members of the team.
