Full Job Description

We are now recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Development Surveyor to support some of the County Council's workstreams, including the Strategic Land programme.

If you have experience of managing pre-disposal feasibility, planning, delivery strategies and their implementation for residential and/or mixed-use development, together with large site/phased land disposal(s), we want to hear from you!

You'll be joining a specialist in-house consultancy Development Team comprising Development Surveyors, Town Planners and Urban Designers who, with both internal and external specialist consultant support, collectively work on some exciting workstreams and projects. These include a major Strategic Land Programme of 12 sites across Hampshire with the potential to deliver over 10,000 new houses with associated infrastructure and facilities, a Capital Receipts Programme of disposal sites of varying size, property rationalisations, and the provision of other corporate estate property and valuation advice.

As part of the Hampshire 2050 directorate, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary cohort working for the County Council and our partner organisations, including other local authorities and public sector bodies across the southeast region.
