Principal Electrical Engineer

You will be fulfilling the duties of the Principal Designer as defined under CDM 2015 including where necessary carrying out the role of CDM-Advisor to support the client.
You'll have relevant experience making sure that multiple team members and duty holders such as the client, designers, contractors and other internal multidisciplinary team members, and cooperate with each other and check that relevant duties are complied with.
You'll be planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating pre-construction phases of projects to identify, eliminate, or control significant and foreseeable risks relating to construction.
You'll work with the client to gather preconstruction information, assess the adequacy, identify gaps and provide advice on how they might be filled and distribute to those that need it.
You'll be managing multiple projects for key clients to the business particularly focused on the power distribution sector.
You'll be attending client meetings and carrying out H&S site inspections and delivering high quality reports to the client within agreed deadlines.
You will be providing clear, concise, and practical Health and Safety advice, guidance and coaching to project teams throughout all stages of the project.
You'll be responsible for collating, preparing and issuing Health & Safety Files to the client.
