Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering

• You will provide subject matter expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders on Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering
• Coach and mentor in Systems Engineering practices
• Lead activities and supervise others as they tailor and develop Systems Engineering practices to suit the needs of a particular project/programme of work
• Effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure the development and delivery of optimised systems
• Demonstrate expertise in a given domain and also absorb and process new domain knowledge quickly
• You will work collaboratively across Engineering disciplines and other Functions
  
  You are an experienced Engineer with a breadth of systems engineering knowledge and an understanding of the full engineering lifecycle
• You understand systems engineering approaches, processes and procedures
• You have a sound basis in the science of engineering - the basic physics, chemistry and mathematics on which engineering is founded
• You are degree qualified or have equivalent experience in a science technology, engineering, or mathematics related discipline
• You have an awareness of the many disciplines that impact on system design, from the different branches of engineering through law, commerce, management, logistics and politics
• You are a member of appropriate professional institution and Chartered with them, or demonstrable working towards Chartership
• You can coach, mentor and assist others
