  • Provide expert advice on all facets of groundwater management, including abstraction licensing, pollution control, and monitoring.

  • Ensure clients are equipped to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while sustainably optimising their water resources.

  • Undertake comprehensive hydrogeological assessments, including water resource, impact, and risk assessments.

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in hydrogeology and related fields. Sharing acquired knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring our solutions are always at the pinnacle of industry innovation.

  • Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgetary constraints, and uncompromising standards of quality.

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients. Identify opportunities for business growth and tailor our services to meet evolving client needs.


  • This role also provides the opportunity to play a pivotal role in Envireau Water's Senior Leadership Team, contributing strategic insights that shape our next growth phase. Your expertise and vision will be integral to steering the company towards new heights of success.

  • A postgraduate degree in hydrogeology, geology, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in hydrogeology, including experience in managing projects and leading teams.

  • Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g. Geological Society, Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management).

  • Excellent technical knowledge of hydrogeology, including groundwater resource assessments, impact assessments, and risk assessments.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience of managing projects from start to finish.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.

  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience of identifying and developing business opportunities.

  • UK Driving Licence required, A positive, self-starting, and flexible attitude with a genuine interest in learning and growth.

  • A desire to get stuck in and apply expertise in a pragmatic way.

  • A passion for building great relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

  • A drive to develop an amazing team and play a key role within the company's senior leadership team.

  • A salary of £50,000+, dependant on experience.

  • Permanent contract, working 40 hours per week within Monday to Friday.
