Principal Lawyer-Employment Rights

As a Principal Lawyer you will deliver full and effective methods of supervision of case work relating to Employment Rights, taking responsibility for best practice in client care and ensuring case management standards are implemented and upheld throughout the team. They work towards achieving the required operational performance driving the success of the team whilst you actively mentor, develop and supervise a group of lawyers, from trainee solicitor up to Senior Lawyer.

Maintaining a caseload of the most complex and strategically important Employment Rights cases in the North West Region and nationally, the role also includes the effective management and monitoring of yours and the team's cases, ensuring that cases are managed in line with our vision and values., We encourage all of our lawyers to be strong advocates for the work we do and to actively engage with local/regional/national union officials and events, together with maintaining and building on our regional relationships with our trade union clients.

We are keen to speak to an admitted solicitor, barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with significant post qualification experience. As well as strong supervisory skills with previous team supervision experience, excellent client care and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for the development of less experienced team members, including by way of sharing your own knowledge and experience is essential.
