Full Job Description
- Design large scale and resilient systems, innovating and supporting new technological architectures, test and maintain software applications using various programming languages such as Kotlin, Swift.
- Provide deep expertise and broad knowledge; you're hands on, producing both detailed technical work and high-level architectural designs. Experience working with AWS cloud services, IoT devices, geolocation services, and industry standard mobile CI/CD platforms.
- Be a strong technical authority for the mobile app team and provide representation in technical discussions.
- Be able to think globally when building systems, ensuring we build high performing, scalable systems that fit well together. Providing technical and strategic direction for the mobile app team and working closely with stakeholders in other technical areas.
- Ability and experience to monitor system performance metrics such as response time or throughput capacity in order to identify areas of improvement or optimisation opportunities.
- You will bring your technical mindset and expertise on the most challenging design and development problems personally and lead by example to deliver exceptional results that reflect a keen understanding of our customers' needs and our business vision. Collaborates with product managers and stakeholders on feature specifications for new products or features within existing products.
- You will provide technical guidance on best practices in software engineering processes including coding standards, version control systems and automated testing tools.
- Drive to strive for simplicity and demonstrate significant creativity and high judgment. Troubleshoots complex problems related to software application performance or functionality issues.

This is a role that will predominantly be providing technical guidance and direction for the Sky Protect Mobile App team. Our mission is to create the experience at the heart of the home that connects everyone to what they need and love. Making sure that customers understand the value of our products and allow them to enhance their relationship with us. Creating a place where people can do the best work of their career., Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
